The company has TDK Corporation in January 2010, a new small milestone in the HDD disks announced and these are the first large 2.5 terabyte 3.5 inch hard drives, which will then be presented. This is also new 2.5 inch hard drives with 640GB disk space permitting, and the mass production of the new disks should be completed in December this year.

Whether the TDK Corporation, but really the first company with 2.5 terabyte 3.5 inch hard drives will be remains to be seen, because by January 2010, all other manufacturers also the possibility to change that.
