Dell buys a system vendor management

Dell has compared KaceNetworks, a company dedicated to systems management devices, for an undisclosed amount. With this acquisition, Dell hopes to expand its supply management systems to SMBmarket.

Kace offers devices designed to help companies perform tasks such as inventory management or asset management. Moreover, the devices of Kace KBOX also improve security of the ‘endpoint’ through patch management, policy enforcement and finding security vulnerabilities. Since Dell also claim that the KBOX family of appliances are simple to use and deliver rapid return on investment.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed and the acquisition is subject to customary legal conditions. At the moment there have declined to comment on possible layoffs, but Dell is expected to take the team Kace once the purchase is completed.
Dell has been moving in the field of servers, expanding the number of services that could increase the income of the company and the purchase of Kate could help Dell to offer remote management services

Viliv X70 MID comes later
